The Update:
We filmed this segment for my Family Adventures series during Wonder Valley's very popular Family Camp a few years ago. It happens only
during a couple weeks during the summer, so you need to make
reservations at least six months in advance. Trust me. By the last day of
our filming this segment, they were already nearly completely booked
for the next summer's sessions.
Of course individuals, couples, and family and friends can visit other times during the year and take part in a ton of activities. You just have to make
sure there's availability. (Wonder Valley Ranch is often booked for orgainization and corporate events)
Summer days in the valley can get downright hot. (All the more reason
to jump in the lake). Slather on the sunscreen and wear a hat. Take along
a light sweater for the cool breezy evenings. Check the weather before
you go during other times.
