Together With Family And Friends
We are committed to providing baby boomers with as many activities and destinations as possible that promote friendly togetherness in an environment of laughter, cameraderie and adventure. We believe the strong, tightly woven family and friends groups of our ancestors serve as a model for what we should emulate today.
We acknowledge that today's groups of family and friends are considerably different in many ways from those of our ancestors. Yet we believe that, still today, the basic concept of family and friends as a group holds value and merit for us all. We believe families and friends should all be afforded opportunities to spend quality time together regardless of their composition or economic standing. To that end, we dedicate ourselves to finding those opportunities.
Adventures And Destinations
We are committed to finding and telling you about adventures and destinations that truly are geared to providing quality experiences to baby boomers. The adventures that we list respect the environment, treat the creatures who live there with honor and dignity and leave little impact on the land and people surrounding them. The destinations that we feature hold in high regard the values we esteem. They provide accommodations that are appropriate for baby boomers who travel either alone, as couples, as a family, or as part of a group (normally four to fifteen). They provide activities on-site or information about activities nearby that promote camaraderie and adventure among friends and family. Our destinations might be considered off-the-beaten path, perhaps even rustic, but each has its own particular baby boomer appeal. And each is indicative of a place where we at Boomer Adventures would feel comfortable spending quality time with our family or friends. That's why our write-ups and video segments often reflect our own personal experience at many of the adventures and destinations we cover.
Partners
Our partners also believe in the values as set forth in our philosophy. We consider each of our partners to be part of our Boomer Adventures family, just as much as they consider us a part of theirs. We select our partners based upon each's ability to deliver quality products and services at a reasonable cost, and in many cases with an additional Boomer Adventures special discount. They are committed to excel in their service, especially to the baby boomer market. Like us, they believe teamwork is a conerstone in producing the best products and services. Yet each individual within the team is honored and respected for his or her individual contirbution. And when we stop to think about it. Isn't this exactly what we hope to engender within our own families and friends?
