THE UPDATE

It's been nearly two years since my son, Eric, and I visited Maho Bay Camps on beautiful St. John Island in the US Virgin Islands, but the memories we hold dear from our show production there remain as vivid as the day we arrived. We were there to produce a mini-pilot for a proposed new TV show about family travel to the island. Since then, we've repurposed all of our work into Boomer Adventures. Everything we discovered there is even more suited for Baby Boomers looking for adventure travel amid an incredibly beautiful landscape. And very little has changed. Even most of the Maho Bay Camps staff that appear in our show are still there, ready to be ever so helpful and accommodating. Trust me, Maho Bay Camps drips with adventure and romance. Think wide-eyed views, a glass of wine, a gentle evening island breeze, soft rain that smells of all things tropical, cooling everything down. Spend your days snorkeling or SCUBA diving crystalline waters. Or hike the lush trails that wind across nearly 75% of the island. Visit the Annaberg ruins. Read. Relax. And don't forget the stunning view that accompanies the delicious gourmet meals that await your for breakfast and dinner at the open-air restaurant. Our thanks to Melody Smith (Marketing Director) and Joe Feraco (former General Manager) and all of the rest of the staff for making our visit so special. Hey guys!!! We want to come back....soon!!! Keep in mind that prices may have changed since our visit.

Sam
