The Update:
I met the Wintz family of Santa Barbara, CA while I was filming a
segment about the Danish community of Solvang. They suggested
a couple of ideas for possible subjects to explore and the Aquarium
of the Pacific was one of them. Our day-long visit proved to be one
of their favorite family getaways. Tag along as the Wintz family gets
"nose-to-nose" with a host of marine life, all under the careful and
informative supervision of the expert staff...feeding everything from
sea lions, to sharks, to exotic birds.
Aquarium of the Pacific has continued to grow not only physically, but also, in international stature as one of the world's premier marine
museums. Located in Long Beach, CA, it's easy to get to and tons of
fun no matter how old you are. You haven't experienced "everything"
until you've petted a barking sea lion.
